Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture

Visit their Web Site
Located on the campus of the University of Washington, the Burke Museum will have a new home in 2019. It's an exciting time for this natural history museum. The old building that currently houses the Burke Museum features exhibits on two levels. On the top level are Washington state focused exhibits about fossils and volcanos. There's also a space for a rotating exhibit. On the bottom level there is a great exhibit about the different cultures of people who've made their home in the Pacific Northwest. And if you need a break, there's a nice café there too. The museum takes about 30-60 mins to visit. And one really cool thing about this museum is they frequently have special event days where they bring out pieces not usually on display.
