The Seattle Center is a 74-acre public park and entertainment complex in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It was built for the 1962 World's Fair, which was held in Seattle to celebrate the city's centennial. Today, the Seattle Center is home to a number of popular attractions, including the Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center, the Museum of Pop Culture, and the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit. The Seattle Center also hosts many community events and festivals throughout the year.
