From the Town Hall Seattle web site, "“Do The Math” is a galvanizing new campaign led by environmental author and activist Bill McKibben and cultural critic Naomi Klein. Based on McKibben’s widely read Rolling Stone article “Global Warming’s Terrifying New Math” (link below), the tour aims to catalyze a global movement to address the climate crisis and challenge the power of the fossil-fuel industry head-on. Traveling the U.S this fall, 350.org founder McKibben brings together a revolving cast of speakers, activists, and musicians (Oregon native Nahko performs at this Seattle event) along with some of the world’s leading thinkers, visionaries, and change-makers in an interdisciplinary program designed to transform our economic landscape and inspire people to take action commensurate with the scale of the climate crisis. Presented by Town Hall."
