From the Town Hall Seattle web site, "Pocket parks are popping up all over all kinds of cities because they are great at regenerating surrounding communities. In this installment of The Seattle Architecture Foundation’s 2012-13 lecture series, Developing Community Through Design, a panel shares examples of small urban parks and the design processes behind them. Panelists include Nancy Rottle, professor of landscape architecture, University of Washington; Charles Anderson, Cooper Hewitt National Design Award nominee and Olympic Sculpture Park landscape designer; and Keith McPeters of Gustafson Guthrie Nichol, whose work includes the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation Campus and Seattle Civic Center Masterplan. Brice Maryman, a member of Seattle’s Board of Parks Commissioners and a landscape architect with SvR Design Company, moderates. Presented by the Seattle Architecture Foundation."
